The Deacon Ministry of Hillside Christian Fellowship is a group of men that oversee the function of the ministries of HCF.  The men that serve as Deacons have a heart to serve and give their time and talents to coordinate and lead the variety of ministries we are engaged in.

In the early church we find the record of the fist deacons that are put over the ministry of the church, Acts chapter 6 give light on the function of deacon ministry.  As we seek to model ourselves as an Acts type fellowship, our deacons are men with a good reputation, full of the Holy Spirit and wisdom whom we have appointed over the ministry of the fellowship.

 Qualifications of a Deacon are found in the pastoral epistles of Timothy and Titus.
